Dear Emily,

I am sorry for the bad news, but my roommates just

told me last night that they did not want a student

roommate. I think they've been burned by some bad

experiences. I tried persuading them, because you

seem very nice, but they were very firm. Pretty funny

since one of them is a student herself!
