i just typed out this huge paragraph but i re-read it and it's totally irrelevent to anything interesting. Lance just called because he was trying out his new "hands free" phone. i was impressed at him owning a headset phone but his response was "no, its the type where you can walk around without a cord, a handsfree one." i laughed...."Lance that is called a cordless phone you need your hands for that hahah". Lance is a gentleman i work with. i find it highly interesting that someone can come this far and not even use a cordless phone or let alone know the name of it. the excited tone in his voice amused me as he was experiencing something for the first time that most of us use daily without even thinking twice about. This point moves me to bring up another topic. no not about phones or technology..but life itself. It's time we start appreciating all aspects of life...each we breath we take with ease, each step, each word we speak. Alot of us are able to breathe freely, smile, eat, run, jump, dance, walk, get out of bed in the morning, do a math problem, type on a keyboard, the list goes on and on without even thinking about it!!!! How lucky we are. When something so simple yet so important is absent everything seems much different and/or harder. it's amazing the things we are capable to do. i am starting to not take things for granted, i hope you can too. *EVERYONE* go see CHOCOLAT. i saw it for the second time last nite. as allison put it, you're not only watching it, you're experiencing it while learning valuable lessons.(not to mention it's HILARIOUS)
